For reference. Russia's influence inside Ukraine is analyzed in the publication "Russian octopus in action. Case "Ukraine", prepared on the basis of a study within the project "Russian lobbying in Ukraine in the context of the 2019 elections: power sources, penetration channels, prevention mechanisms" with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. It addresses a wide range of issues related to informational influences, propaganda, and systemic long-term activities aimed at creating informal influence groups, non-governmental organizations, the media, and other elements of Russia's extensive network of influence in society and government. The problem of creation and functioning of business structures that feed the relevant networks and covertly contribute to the spread of Russian influence in various spheres of public life and at different levels of government is considered.
