Healthy and pragmatic forces in Europe realize that the model of domestic governance and foreign policy of US President D. Trump may persist after he leaves power. Therefore, the main task for Europeans is to ensure strategic autonomy in critical areas of the economy not only from old dictatorships like China or Russia, but also from the unpredictable, unreliable and increasingly hostile United States.
