Sinopsis Project Newsletter. China and the World This Week: Havel's Legacy and the Shadow of Tiananmen Square

The Center for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" in cooperation with the Czech-Taiwanese project Sinopsis publishes the Newsletter dated June 5, 2026. The recently opened Václav Havel bench in Taipei is dedicated to the importance of dialogue and human rights. Meanwhile, in Beijing, the Chinese leadership, even after 37 years, is trying to erase the memory of the protesters who demanded the same thing on Tiananmen Square.
