EU MEMBER STATE SPENDING ON RUSSIAN FOSSIL FUELS

How much money from the EU is being spent on Russian coal, oil, and gas since the Kremlin’s war on Ukraine began on February 24 (M = millions)?

It is the moral duty of all Europeans to make every effort to urgently end Russian, and all fossil fuel dependence, in our economies.

Transitioning our energy systems to use less energy and be based completely on renewable energy sources is an overriding priority that will help end this terrible war in the short term, safeguard peace, and address the climate crisis that threatens our planet.

How Much Does Each EU Member State Spend Per Year?

This is what each country spent on Russian coal, oil, and fossil gas in 2021, according to UN Comtrade trade data.
Fossil gas imports are apportioned to countries using Eurostat energy trade data.
N/A means no meaningful imports, or no data.
