We are glad to present to your attention new issue of the Black Sea Security Journal 1 (37) 2020 in English.

 

The epidemic of coronavirus, which quickly took on the symptoms of a pandemic, showed how quickly globalization could be replaced by deglobalization, and democracy, under the pressure of quarantine measures, proved ineffective in combating the spread of the disease.

The decline in economic activity in China due to the COVID-19 pandemic has caused stagnation in the oil market, which, in turn, has led to the collapse of the agreement within the OPEC + supercartel.

Russia continues to destabilize the situation in the Mediterranean, Black and Azov Seas. Its goal is to further split NATO and the EU, taking advantage of the negative side effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
