Crimea behind the curtain. Guide to the occupied zone.

The book "Crimea behind the curtain. Guide to the occupied zone", prepared by our colleagues from the Center for the Study of Security Environment "Prometheus", is available for download on the Prometheus' site. 

The book is prepared for the fifth anniversary of the Russian occupation of Crimea. The laconic presentation of key historical, political and social problems of Crimea is full of facts and illustrations. Issues of the status of Crimea and Sevastopol, the Crimean Tatar issue, the problems of basing the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation and the delimitation of marine waters are covered. The facts of the occupation of Crimea in February-March 2014 are presented. The main problems of the current situation of the occupied territory are outlined.

The publication, with the support of the Canadian Foundation for Local Initiatives and the International Renaissance Foundation, contains exclusive materials on the occupation of Crimea, collected by the international volunteer community InformNapalm.

The book continues a series of compact reference books on the gray areas of the security environment, started by the already well-known in the expert community book "Donbas on fire. Guide to the conflict zone ".

A guide for journalists, diplomats, public activists working on the Crimean issue.

The purpose of the project: to create and distribute a universal reference publication with important information about the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol in Ukrainian, English, German, Turkish and Russian.
