Sumy Oblast

The Ukrainian military launched a counteroffensive in Sumy oblast.

Eastern Oblasts

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Husarivka in the Kharkiv region. The settlement was occupied by 2 BTGs with the support of Russian special forces. Our defenders destroyed about 60 units of equipment and more than a hundred invaders.

Donetsk Oblast

Kramatorsk

The situation remains alarming. No active actions on the part of the russian occupation troops were recorded. Together with the Territorial Defense Forces and its residents, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to prepare to meet the enemy. The city is operating normally.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk District

The situation in the city is calm. Russia has used banned phosphorus munitions near Avdiivka. The enemy fired from Tornado-C multiple rocket launchers at the residential sector of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Oblast.

Russian occupation troops used banned cluster munitions that fell in the middle of private sector streets. Four people were injured. Police have now surrounded the dangerous area. Police explosives technicians and the State Emergency Service detect and neutralize cumulative warheads. The russians killed a civilian in Marinka and wounded two people.

The city of Rodynske of the Pokrovsky District accepted the help – personal hygiene products, medicines, blankets, foodstuff.

Bakhmut

The situation in the city is tense. City infrastructure and utilities operate on a full-time basis. Private trade facilities operate in a limited mode. Bakhmut-Khlib LLC works stably to meet the needs of the community. Police officers are conducting intensive patrols of community streets. The State Emergency Service is also working in an intensified mode.

On March 1st, the Bakhmut City Council organized an evacuation. It took 2531 residents to the railway stations of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk for further departure by Ukrzaliznytsia evacuation trains to safe oblasts of the country.

A check-in point has been set up at the Yevhen Martynov City Center of Culture and Leisure in Bakhmut. Anyone can apply there to help resolve temporary stay issues, get clothes, food, and support from a psychologist.

Mariupol

The blockade of Mariupol continues. Sweeps have begun in the western part of Mariupol, which is now under occupier control. Russians go to the apartments of the surviving houses, conduct a census. If no one opens, they just break down the door.

Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the night and in the morning, the enemy’s attacks in the Zaporizhzhia direction were successfully repulsed. The russian military continues to terrorize and intimidate the local population in the temporarily occupied communities. Berdyansk, Melitopol, and other temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Oblast are cut off from mobile communications and the Internet. Russians hinder the work of Ukrainian operators, turn off Ukrainian television and radio broadcasting.

As a result of shelling by the russian military in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two high-voltage substations were damaged. The villages of Verbove, Andriivske, Romanivske, and Antonivka are without electricity. Hulyaypole, Orikhiv, and Vasylivka communities also remain partially without electricity supply. Due to the active hostilities and the fact that the russian military does not allow emergency response teams to the sites of damage, it is currently impossible to restore the network.

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service put out a fire in a residential building in Polohy district, caused by shelling by the occupiers. Rescuers also managed to deliver water for the residents of Hulyaypole and provided food for the population of Tokmak.

Energodar

Residents of the city plan to resume night patrols from March 28th. This is due to looting and worsening crime on the streets. Mayor Dmytro Orlov noted that only residents of Energodar will be included in the people’s wives. The occupying forces will not take part in the patrol.

An attempt is being made to seize power in Energodar. Andriy Ihevchik, a deputy from the Opposition platform for life party, announced the creation and launch of the russian city self-organization council.

In Melitopol, the occupiers cut off all Ukrainian TV channels. Only russian TV and radio channels work. Ukrainian mobile operators are also not available in the occupied territories.

The head of the occupation authorities, halyna danylchenko, reports that schools and kindergartens in the city will open from April 4th, and education will be conducted in russian. The self-proclaimed conductress also promises to write off all debts for utilities. There are suspicions that the russian occupiers are preparing to hold a fake referendum and create one or more quasi-republics.

The police patrol of the Lviv Oblast identified the individuals who had siphoned information to russian patrons.

2200 more comers forced from their homes in other Oblasts of Ukraine have been received and accommodated in the past 24 h. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Lviv Oblast has been playing host to some 251 thousand IDPs.

Poland donated to Lviv 20 low-floor buses with humanitarian aid. Lviv professionals are now examining the technical condition of the buses. Some will be used as municipal transport, while the rest will serve to transport IDPs to the Polish border.
