It has been the 176th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion. 

Ukraine briefly:

Here is operational information as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts holding the occupied areas of Kherson and parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts, restoring the combat capability of the units that suffered losses, as well as preventing a possible counterattack of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Towards Volyn, Polissia and Siversk, the situation has not changed significantly. The enemy shelled Studenok, Pavlivka and Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region from barreled artillery.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy is trying to keep the occupied positions, restores the combat capability of the units that suffered losses, and replenishes reserves of logistics support of the troops. A battalion tactical group joined the grouping and additional electronic warfare systems were deployed.

The enemy used tanks, barrel artillery and multiple launch rocket systems to shell the settlements of Bazaliivka, Chepil, Cherkaski Tyshky, Derhachi, Husarivka, Ivanovka, Kalynove, Korobochkine, Kutuzivka, Lebiazhe, Pechenihy, Petrivka, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne, Staryi Saltiv, Stara Hnylytsia, Slobozhanske, Udy, and Velyki Prokhody. The invaders also launched airstrikes near Baranivka, Staryi Saltiv and Verkhnii Saltiv.

Towards Sloviansk, near Adamivka, Bohorodychne, Brazhivka, Chervone, Dibrovne, Dolyna, Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, Nortsivka,  Virnopillya,  and Velyka Komyshuvakha, the enemy fired from barrel and rocket artillery.

Towards Kramatorsk, there was shelling near Berestove, Fedorivka, Hryhorivka,  Ivano-Darivka, Kryva Luka, Rozdolivka, Siversk, Serebrianka, Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Vesele and Zvanivka. In addition, the enemy launched an airstrike near Disputed.

The invaders made an unsuccessful attempt to attack Mykolaivka-Vyimka, suffered losses and retreated.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy fired Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Kodema, Soledar, Vershyna, Yakovlivka, Zaitseve and Zalizne from tanks and artillery of various types. Aviation hit Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Dolyna, Pokrovske, Vesela Soledar, Yakovlivka and Zaitseve.

By offensive and assault actions, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops and advance from the areas of Holmovske, Klynove, Pokrovske, Semihiria and Vladymyrivka  towards Bakhmut. The invaders failed and withdrew.

Towards Avdiivka, the settlements of Avdiivka, Kamianka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Nevelske, Netailove, Niu York, Novobakhmutivka, Opytne, Pisky, Pervomaiske, Vesele and Yuriivka were attacked from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery.

The enemy aircraft struck the settlement of Krasnohorivka.

The enemy wanted to gain a foothold towards Verkhnotoretske – Kamianka, Novoselivka Druha – Avdiivka, Pisky – Pervomaiske and Lozove – Pervomaiske. The attempt failed. 

Towards Novopavlivka, there was shelling near Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Velyka Novoselka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Vremivka, and Zolota Nyva. The occupiers also launched an airstrike near Vuhledar.

By launching offensive actions, the enemy tried to gain a foothold towards Taramchuk – Vodiane, was repelled and retreated.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, shelling did not stop from all available damage means of fire on the contact line. The enemy used aircraft near Novoandriivka, Shcherbaky, and Zhaliznychne.

Towards the South Buh, enemy units continue to focus on keeping their occupied positions and preventing the Defense Forces from preparing for counter-offensive actions.

The occupiers strengthened the grouping with up to two battalion tactical groups of reserve and individual units from other directions.

The enemy launched airstrikes near Belohirka, Bila Krynytsya and Lozove. Aerial reconnaissance with UAVs now plays a significant role.

Two enemy carriers of sea-based cruise missiles are in combat readiness to use high-precision weapons.

Ukrainian defenders inflict losses on russian occupiers in all directions of active hostilities.


Today, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Turkey Erdogan met in Lviv. After the meeting, a memorandum was signed on the post-war restoration of infrastructure. The first project may include reconstruction of the Romanovsky bridge in Kyiv oblast. The presidents also discussed the increase in exports from Ukraine, theft of grain from the occupied territories by the russian federation and defense cooperation.

Ukrainian activist and volunteer Serhii Prytula announced that using 600 million hryvnias that Ukrainians raised for the purchase of Bayraktars the Prytula Charitable Foundation purchased a satellite. It will provide access to the Aisai satellite image database for more than a year, allowing our military to do their job more efficiently. 

Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the UN Secretary General to make every effort to return Ukrainian prisoners of war home. They also agreed to send missions as soon as possible to establish the facts of the deaths of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Olenivka and parameters of a possible IAEA mission to the ZNPP. This was announced by the President of Ukraine after today’s meeting in Lviv.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders launched an offensive targeting Bazaliivka, Duvanka, Husarivka, Ivanivka, Karasivka, Lisne, Mospanove, Petrivka, Pytomnyk, Rtyshchivka and Velyki Prokhody. The enemy replenished tactical forces and deployed additional electronic warfare complexes. They also remotely mined territory near Lebiazhe, Chuhuiv district. 

All attempts by the invaders to launch an offensive against the positions of our defenders ended in retreat and losses. They are now concentrating their efforts on holding their own lines, shelling our troops’ positions with multiple rocket launchers and artillery.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that overnight, russians launched massive missile strikes against Kharkiv. Once again, peaceful  civilian districts were under attack.

Late at night, a russian missile hit a three-storey residential building in Saltiv district. The house was almost destroyed and there was a massive fire.

In the morning, the enemy launched 8 missiles from Belgorod in the direction of Kharkiv. Rockets hit Saltiv district, damaged buildings, infrastructure and fires broke out.

A missile strike destroyed the 90-year-old Palace of Culture building in Kholodna Hora district.

In Sloboda district, one of the missiles hit a four-storey dormitory. 42 people were injured and 17 killed, including a boy born in 2009. The building is partially destroyed.

In the morning, the enemy launched a rocket attack on Krasnohrad. As a result of the shelling, a couple was killed in their own home. Their 12-year-old daughter was thrown out of the house and seriously injured. More than 10 houses were damaged.

Donetsk oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders repelled the invaders’ attack toward Donetsk oblast.

The invaders attacked in the direction of Mykolaivka – Vyimka. They withdrew with losses. Also russians tried to break through the Armed Forces of Ukraine defences and advance from Holmivskyi, Klynove, Pokrovsk, Semyhiria and Volodymyrivka toward Bakhmut. They withdrew with losses.

Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported that russian terrorists opened fire on Krasnohorivka during evacuation. However, police officers successfully evacuated residents to safe regions.

Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, said that the invaders started to rebuild/resumed operations on rebuilding the Drama theatre shelled on March 16 in Mariupol.

Luhansk oblast

 Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, informed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine still control two villages in Luhansk oblast. Overnight, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to gain a foothold but were unsuccessful.

The invaders used cannons and multiple rocket launchers four times. They also shelled from tanks. Russians used military aviation four times

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, approximately 350K people remain in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast. He noted that humanitarian headquarters for the residents of Luhansk oblast will work in every region of Ukraine, currently, they are being set up in Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv and Zakarpattia regions.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

A meeting was held at the Kyiv RMA with the representatives of the Czech Republic headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jaroslav Kurfürst. The parties discussed ways to strengthen economic ties between the regions. The delegation also visited Makariv, Andriivka, Borodianka, Bucha and Irpin.

The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights has opened an advisory center in Kyiv for relatives of children illegally deported from Ukraine. Since the full-scale invasion began, the occupiers have deported at least 5 754 children. It is planned to open such centers in all oblasts.

A tractor tripped a mine and blew up by an explosive object in Kyiv oblast. According to the Kyiv RMA, the incident occurred during harvesting near the village of Zelena Poliana in Vyshhorod region. The driver was injured and is undergoing medical treatment.

Nineteen buses from German private transport companies have arrived in Kyiv. Mayor Vitaliy Klytschko said that with the help of the German cities of Munich, Regensburg, Hanover and Zeven, Kyivpassastrans enterprise received 11 regular city buses, six long buses and two intercity coaches.

Since the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, Kyiv residents have contacted the crisis helpline 5 039 times for psychological support. Kyiv City State Administration reported that women mostly needed help because of domestic violence, and men – because of fear of losing loved ones due to hostilities, losing their job, and because of suicidal thoughts.

The Licensing Commission of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine decided to renew all licenses for Chernobyl NPP activities in the field of radioactive waste management. Due to the long-term occupation by russian troops, certain activities at the Chernobyl NPP were suspended.

Zhytomyr oblast

A 36-year-old resident of Zhytomyr oblast received a notice of suspicion of high treason. Investigators determined that he had been recruited by the FSB while visiting relatives in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Four people in the oblast have been exposed for actively spreading russian propaganda.

Internally displaced people can receive humanitarian and food aid from the Ukrainian Charity Fund in Zhytomyr. Volunteers collected 60 food parcels on August 18 alone. The charity fund is also making packages of canned foods and instant meals for the military. The charity buys everything needed with the help of foreign donors.

A 102-year-old woman in Zhytomyr helps make ghillie suits for the military. Liubov Yarosh from the village of Khodorkiv survived the Holodomor, hired labour, the German occupation, forced hard labour in Donbas and the collective farm. The woman now helps local volunteers.

To celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day, a charity art exhibition and sale of items presented by Zhytomyr craftsmen are being held in Zhytomyr. 247 artworks are displayed in this exhibition. The initial estimated cost of the artwork presented is about 100K hryvnias. All funds raised will be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sumy oblast

In the morning, the russian military shelled the village of Pavlivka in the Bilopillia community with barrel artillery. Dmytro Zhivytskyi, the head of the Sumy RMA, reported that private houses and a local school were damaged. There are no victims among the population.

SSU counter-intelligence neutralized a russian agent who, in the first days of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, assisted in “transferring” 128 units of the occupiers’ equipment from Sumy to Kyiv oblast. According to the SSU, the traitor turned out to be a resident of Sumy oblast, recruited by the special services of the russian federation.

Enemy artillery shelled the Myropillia community in Sumy oblast. The “Sumy” operative-tactical group reported that windows were broken in private houses. People were not injured.

The Czech humanitarian organization will help restore war-damaged residential buildings in the Trostyanets community.

Chernihiv oblast

The territory of Chernihiv oblast is being de-mined. On August 15-17, underwater demining and pyrotechnic teams of the State Emergency Service were involved in disposal of explosive devices (Eds)48 times and discovered 511 such objects. The State Emergency Service reported that a total of 40,084 EDs have been seized since the start of hostilities.

Over the past three days, 12 fires have been registered in the oblast: 8 — in the residential sector, 2 — in ecosystems, and 2 — others. One person is injured.

The Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov, visited the village of Yagidne in Chernihiv oblast, where work is ongoing to restore housing, damaged or destroyed due the armed aggression of the russian federation. According to the minister, 22 residential buildings have been restored on two streets of the village.

The first modular town in the oblast was opened in Novoselivka. Modular constructions, according to agreements with the Ministry of Regions, were handed over by the Polish government for free. 280 new settlers who lost their homes have already received warrants for settlement.

The state allocated UAH 1.65 million from the reserve fund for restoration of power lines in the Bobrovytsia microdistrict. The works are planned to be completed by mid-September.

The Chernihiv kindergarten “Sonechko”, for restoration of which UAH 1.66 million has been allocated from the reserve fund of the state budget, is preparing for the new school year.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast 

The russian army shelled Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih regions this morning. There were 15 hits from non-rocket artillery on civilian districts of Nikopol. A 57-year old woman was wounded. 16 private houses, a school, cars, a shop and a church were damaged. Power lines were also affected. In Kryvyi Rih, the enemy shelled the Apostoliv community from Uragan. There were no casualties and destruction.

In Kryvyi Rih, the police determines the circumstances of shelling in one of the houses. Based on the preliminary information, there was a shot from the rocket propelled grenade 26 in one of the apartments with four people inside. A woman and a man were wounded. They were hospitalized. 

Dnipropetrovsk rescuers received 150 armored vests due to the Lviv Defense Cluster organization. The local authorities and volunteers provide the rescuers with individual protective gear. 

 Vinnytsia oblast 

38 Ukrainian flags were exhibited at the Vinnytsia natural museum. The flags were brought from different regions of Ukraine by soldiers and volunteers. The exhibition was held on the State Flag day and associated with the Independence Day. The oldest flag exhibited is 32 years old.

Kids from Syomaky village collect money to purchase a drone for the local military  defending Ukraine. Every day, boys and girls go to the intersection near their village and sell hot and cold beverages, buns and fruit from their garden. The drone costs UAH 25K. Young volunteers collected almost 18K.

Kirovohrad oblast

The volunteer auction “Together on our way to the victory” was held at Kirovohrad arts museum. The painting created by Anatoly Yaniev “Still life (fiddle)” is among the auction lots. All collected funds will be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

Poltava oblast 

Kharkiv Prodmash enterprise, producing agricultural machinery, was relocated to Lubny. Its head shared this news. According to him, prior to the russian invasion, some capacities were operating in the Poltava region. Due to the hostilities, it was completely relocated from Kharkiv. 80 employees work at the enterprise. There are 11 internally displaced people among them. 

Cherkasy oblast 

Head of the regional education and science department, Valery Danilevskyy, informed that russian language will no longer be taught in the region as a subject as well as the second language as an optional subject. Last year, two percent of students studied russian language as the second foreign language. 

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not changed.

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Uspenivka, Mala Tokmachhka, Samiilivka, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole.

Police received 24 reports on destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian forces.

Police officers documented destruction of 10 residential buildings in Orihiv, the villages of Uspenivka and Preobrazhenka of the Polohy district after the shelling.

An enemy rocket fell near one of local schools in Orikhiv. As a result, the educational institution was damaged – windows were broken, walls were damaged and the roof was destroyed.

The russian military launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia from the Vasylivsky district at night. Four rockets hit an infrastructure facility in Shevchenkove district. During the shelling, one woman was killed, three people injured.

There were explosions at military facilities of russian terrorists in the temporarily occupied Melitopol and Kyrylivka. After that, russians intensified repression against the civilian population. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov. The occupiers have blocked the exit from Melitopol, they are seizing the cars of legal entities. In the last week, 10 civilians from Melitopol were captured by them. The russian military is taking away businessmen’s premises and production.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence warned that on August 19, russian occupiers may stage a provocation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. It is reported that they announced an unexpected “day off” at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station: “On August 19, only operative personnel will be at the ZNPP. The entrance to all other employees will be closed.” Also the representatives of “Rosatom”, who were still constantly present at the station, urgently left the territory of the facility.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Raphael Grossi, in response to Ukraine’s invitation, declared his readiness to lead the IAEA delegation to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy created the Berdiansk City Military Administration by his decree.

During the day the civilian population was evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. A total of 985 people, including 225 children, were evacuated.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy launched an airstrike with two anti-radar missiles from the Su-35 aircraft towards Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts. There were no damages or casualties.

During the day, the russian troops shelled Mykolaiv. According to preliminary information, two people were injured, one person killed.

Russian armed forces attacked the fire brigade of one of the communities in Mykolayiv oblast. The team is intact, but two special cars were destroyed.

The police documented 20 damaged infrastructure facilities after yesterday’s rocket attacks on Mykolaiv: eight multi-apartment and six private residential buildings, educational institutions, premises of a food establishment and one of the city’s enterprises.

The settlements of Chervone, Shevchenkove, Shyroke Voskresenska were also shelled yesterday. Residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged.

Mykolaiv volunteers received 28 bicycles from Norwegian donors as part of the #BikesForUkraine campaign. Bicycles would increase volunteers’ mobility when delivering humanitarian aid around the city.

Odesa oblast

About 10 enemy ships are maneuvering in the Black Sea. They take shelter in safe areas along the Crimean coast to Novorossiysk. There are 2 surface carriers with 26 Kalibr cruise missiles and 1 large landing ship on combat duty.

Four vessels were moored in Chornomorsk port to load agricultural products. The vessels ZELEK STAR, KAFKAMETLER, OCEAN S and GREAT ARSENAL will be loaded with more than 56 tons of barn, corn and wheat.

A resident of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district was sentenced to five years in prison for spreading information about movement and location of the Armed Forces.

Kherson oblast

Ukrainian missile and artillery units destroyed 5 occupiers, a complex of satellite communication stations “Legenda-2” and an anti-tank missile complex this night. An ammunition warehouse was destroyed in Blahhodatne.

Units of the Kakhovka Operational Command found anti-personnel fragmentation mines (POM-2) in the de-occupied territories of Kherson oblast. These mines are capable of causing damage when being touched

Over the past day, the police opened 19 criminal proceedings on war crimes committed by russian servicemen and their accomplices in Kherson oblast.

The enemy shelled the Beryslav district with heavy artillery. The towns of Novovorontsovka and Visokopillia, the villages of Koshove, Ivanivka, and Osokorivka came under enemy fire. Almost the entire infrastructure has been destroyed in Novovorontsovka, not a single pharmacy, shop or cafe has survived, and local houses are unfit for habitation.

The territory of the farm was partially destroyed in the village of Visokopillya due to enemy shelling. Later, the russian military ransacked the farm and took away the agricultural goods from the shopping complex.

Western regions

Volyn

Volyn Territorial Defense, employees of the military law enforcement service, servicemen of one of the rifle battalion had the special tactical and special medical training in conditions close to combat.

Children’s shelter and rehabilitation center of the city of Rozhishche, the Lutsk district received humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian diaspora in Germany – chairs, desks, projectors, school boards, etc. There are currently almost 30 students in the shelter, including displaced children from Kharkiv, and the rehabilitation center houses 76 children with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and neurological disorders.

Maya Skrynnik from Volyn regularly hosts street concerts of Ukrainian songs in Poland. Since May, Maya has collected over UAH 85K for the Armed Forces of Ukraine during 5 concerts.

In Lutsk, children held a volunteer bench where they sold their own toys. Young volunteers collected UAH 13K and donated the downed enemy drone Orlan, transferred to the service of the Armed Forces, for repair.

Zakarpattia oblast

In Uzhhorod and Mukachevo, landmines were reported. The police and pyrotechnics did not find explosive objects.

Zuzana Kascino, a highly qualified physiotherapist from Slovakia, helps children of the regional children’s home in Svaliva, undergo rehabilitation.

The RMA reported that the Fedor Shpyg Charitable Foundation gave the aspirator ATMOS Z 261 to the Mukachevo Military Hospital Medical equipment.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine Serhiy Zakharin reported that Zakarpattia is leading in conducting surveys of parents and teachers on the preferred education form: 56% of respondents are ready to attend school.

In Zakarpattia oblast, the national tour Cinema for Victory! has started. Law enforcement officers became the first viewers of the film screening. They were presented with the Ukrainian military action drama Cherkasy.

Head of the RMA Viktor Mykyta announced that this year Zakarpattia became a platform for the 3rd stage of the All-Ukrainian children’s and youth military-patriotic game Falcon (Jura).

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk RMA took part in the round table meeting on Challenges of winter time, work with IDPs and their settlement, held online by the USA-Ukraine foundation and the NGO Rotary Club Kyiv International.

The RMA reported that special regional and local commissions work at each educational institution of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, checking the condition of shelters and retrofitted protective structures. 1 208 educational institutions of the oblast were already examined.

The general director of the institution Myron Mateyko said that the communal non-profit enterprise Regional Clinical Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council provided the possibility of calling a team of doctors by sending messages for persons with hearing and speech impairments. 

Lviv oblast

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Lviv.

In downtown Lviv, near the monument of Taras Shevchenko, a rally was held in support of the captured defenders of Azovstal during the visit to Lviv of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Turkish President Recep Erdogan.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of those who died in the russian-Ukrainian war buried on the Field of Mars of the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the medical facilities in Lviv oblast, where medical aid is provided to Ukrainian soldiers.

14 wounded from Donetsk oblast arrived at Lviv hospitals by a special medical train. The youngest patient is 15 years old, the oldest is 86. All victims have mine explosive and gunshot wounds.

Head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi announced that out of 1 130 schools in Lviv oblast, 999 have shelters. There are 388 shelters in 894 preschool educational institutions. They will be checked until August 25.

For heads of educational institutions in Lviv, training was conducted on how to act in the event of a chemical, radiation or biological attack. Experts from the Lviv State University of Life Safety introduced the rules of conduct.

In Lviv oblast, American paramedics will conduct a two-day training for emergency medical services specialists on the basics of tactical medical aid and primary treatment of injuries.

The Lviv defense cluster will start manufacturing bulletproof vests for children who will be evacuated from the combat zone and for doctors. Civilian cars that will go to the front line will be covered with armor.

On the basis of one of the hospitals of Lviv oblast, a specialized clinic for prosthetics and rehabilitation, Superhumans Center, will open. Singer Sting, CEO and president of the Richard Branson Virgin Unite family foundation Jean Oelwang, actor Liev Schreiber, founder of the Not Impossible company, American craniofacial surgeon Peter Constantino and others have already joined the clinic creation.

Every day, over 50 forcibly displaced people are fed a free lunch at the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Strya.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reports that in Rivne oblast, 76% of heating networks have been prepared for the heating season and 71% of residential buildings. Current energy reserves in the oblast include: 900 tons of coal, 11K tons of peat briquettes, 35K cubic meters of firewood and almost 3K cubic meters of other types of fuel.

In the Rivne RMA, a round table was held for agricultural producers and farmers of the oblast to learn the features of the State Agrarian Register and their participation in state support programs.

Head of the Rivne regional government Vitaly Koval announced that a patron from the UAE paid for the rent of a cottage in Rivne oblast for two displaced families from Lyman and Kharkiv.

Mayor of Zdolbunov Vladyslav Suhlyak said that a mural depicting a military woman protecting the city appeared in Zdolbunov. The idea belongs to the artist Sofia Korniychuk.

Ternopil oblast

In Ternopil, mining of the railway station and the Central department store of the city were reported. The relevant services went to the spot. Information about mining has not been confirmed.

Head of the Ternopil military administration Volodymyr Trush announced that in Ternopil oblast, 13% of schools will be on a remote form of learning. There are no shelters in these schools, so they cannot operate under the conditions of martial law.

The RMA reported that to maintain security, police and emergency services personnel will be assigned to educational institutions.

The RMA reported that the first 2 oxygen stations out of 14 have already been received by medical institutions of Ternopil oblast.The equipment purchased with state funds will be installed in communal hospitals of Chortkiv district.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Head of the Khmelnytskyi RMA Serhii Gamalii met with the State Secretary of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland Jacek Severy. During the meeting, they discussed issues of civil protection of the population, humanitarian aid for citizens affected by the war and issues of humanitarian transportation.

Chernivtsi oblast

Head of the Chernivtsi RMA Ruslan Zaparanyuk met with volunteers of Bukovyna. They discussed ways of cooperation to strengthen the humanitarian front in the oblast.

Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet informed that Chernivtsi oblast is among those oblasts that are best prepared for full-time education.

The Department of Health Protection of Chernivtsi Oblast reported that Bukovyna received 150 laptops for doctors. They will be distributed among medical institutions of the oblast. 

International support

A meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan took place in Lviv. During the negotiations, the leaders of the countries discussed issues of defense cooperation, possibility of improving the grain initiative and nuclear blackmail by the occupiers.

A meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres took place in Lviv. During negotiations, they discussed coordination of efforts to implement the grain initiative, the issue of illegal and forced deportation of Ukrainians, the release of Ukrainian servicemen and medics from captivity.

Turkey will participate in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The corresponding Memorandum was signed in Lviv.The first project considers the restoration by the Turkish side of the bridge in the village of Romanivka, Kyiv oblast, which connects Bucha and Irpin with the capital.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that Canada will provide Ukraine with $450 million for the purchase of gas before the heating season.

Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, after a phone conversation with his American colleague, Lloyd Austin announced that more US aid is coming soon.

The Minister of Defense Yaroslav Nagy announced that Slovakia will supply weapons to Ukraine, despite russian resistance.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi is ready to lead the delegation to the ZNPP.

Based on negotiation results between Ukraine and the EU, business entities can obtain approval for the transit through the territory of Romania of live cattle, live cattle, fish, hatching eggs and other categories of live animals, for which Ukraine does not have the right to export to the EU. These conditions for transportation of live animals will be valid only for the wartime period.

The local government of Opole has allocated over 6 million zlotys to arrange 49 apartments for 200 Ukrainians fleeing the war in Poland.
